Sassy Passed away due to the petfood recall.
We are so saddened at her loss.
She was a precious loving girl 
and we will miss her desperately.

COMPLICATIONs in delivery on her litter due July 31st, 2006 
caused a heart attack and we lost her and her kittens. 
Her water broke and when labor started, her heart stopped.
We are grief stricken but want to remember her through the web 
as a wonderful pet and mother of many beautiful healthy kittens.

We now believe that the menu food recall is what caused her death. We did not know about the food 
at the time of her death  and are greatly saddened at the loss of one of best girls due to this grievious incompetience 
of Menu Foods.  There was nothing wrong with her before this happened. Her heart just could not handle the damage 
done to her and when she went into labor, it was all her little body could handle.

Moved to live with her real mommy, 
my daugther Monee' who now is serving
in the Navy Officer as a Nuclear Engineer.

She also has kidney damage from the recalled food
and has been hospitalized. The vets have gone to great
lengths to save her life and we are hopeful she will survive.

Izzy is no longer with us. 
She had a long happy life and lots of kittens to remember her by.
