Health Warranty
Pawtrix Cove

To the best of my knowledge, this animal has been found to be in good condition at the time of sale. The customer is urged to have the animal(s) checked by a licensed veterinarian at the customer's cost within three days from the date of the sale to insure the animal's health. If the veterinarian finds anything seriously wrong (within the three day time frame) with the animal due to a non-congenital condition, the new owner is to notify the breeder, Pawtrix Cove Cattery. The animal, along with a written letter from the veterinarian is to be brought back to the breeder for treatment by the cattery's veterinarian at the cost of the breeder, but not to exceed 50% of the sale of the animal. The veterinarian's letter is to contain the name of the owner of the animal, the date of the examination, the breed, color, sex and age of the animal along with a clear statement of the findings and/or diagnosis including the general basis for them, and copies of all relevant reports and test. The veterinarian must indicate in writing that the animal is unfit for purchase as indicated by test results. [Unfit for purchase means any disease, deformity, injury, physical condition, or illness that severely affects the health of the animal.] This guarantee will become null and void if the animal is medically treated by another veterinarian  including vaccinations, etc. unless discussed with breeder and other arrangements have been made for care and treatment of animal in writing.  If within two weeks of the purchase of the animal, it is found to have congenital defects, and the above conditions have been met, the new owner may:

1] Return the animal with a full refund of the purchase price within the two week period, or

2] Keep the animal and receive not more than 50% of purchase price for the animal's care, with the new owner supplying the breeder with receipts of payment to a veterinarian within this two week period, or if congenital defects that will/does result in the death of the animal are found within the first year, new owner can

3] Return the animal for their choice of another of same value from different parents when one is available.  Again, the veterinarian's letter is to contain the name of the owner of the animal, the date of  the examination, the breed, color, sex and age of the animal along with a clear statement of the findings and/or diagnosis including the general basis for them, and copies of all relevant reports and test. The veterinarian must indicate in writing that the animal has a congenital defect that will result in death of animal as indicated by test results. Should the owner elect to receive another animal that is available, the above conditions will apply without the need for another contract.

After leaving the premises with the animal, the breeder assumes no responsibility of the animal for medical expenses due to injury, acts of nature, landlord disapproval, allergies to animal, disagreements with family members over purchase, etc..

It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to purchased animal, except as set forth in this agreement.

Special Requirements and Restriction:

The new owner will never allow this animal to go to an animal shelter, pet shop, or laboratory or to roam free outdoors.

It is understood that this animal is not to be used for breeding unless otherwise indicated on CFA certificate. Certificates will be sent out when all funds have cleared.

I have read the above and my signature assures that I agree with said conditions of sale.
